Rime of the Frostmaiden | The Devil’s Hand | Episode 48
In this gripping episode of Rime of the Frostmaiden, the Icebreakers arrive at the charred and devastated ruins of Caer Dineval, a town laid to waste by the fearsome Chardalyn Dragon. However, the destruction left in the dragon’s wake is not the only threat looming over the forsaken fortress. The Icebreakers discover that the ruins have been overtaken by a sinister group—the Cult of the Nine-fingered Hand, a band of devil worshippers with dark ambitions.
As the group infiltrates the Caer, tensions rise when a battle erupts against the cultists. But amid the chaos, Brim and the others are alarmed by the appearance of a familiar face from their past, someone whose presence could spell doom not only for the party but for all of Icewind Dale. Old fears and unresolved conflicts resurface, adding a layer of danger to an already perilous situation.
With the cult’s sinister rituals underway and the shadow of a past adversary looming large, the Icebreakers must fight with everything they’ve got to prevent a catastrophe that could plunge Icewind Dale into eternal darkness. Will they overcome this new threat, or will the cultists’ dark plans bring about the region’s downfall?
