Their monumental task: locate the scattered fragments of the mythological Rod of Seven Parts. Reassembling this ancient artefact is the only way to banish Vecna back to Oerth, stripping him of his power to rewrite reality.

But hope does not come easily. The very first piece of the Rod lies buried deep within the treacherous, sunless Underdark. The party must descend into Web’s Edge, a deadly nest crawling with vicious, Lolth-worshipping drow. Will our adventurers survive the spider queen’s domain and claim the first fragment, or will Vecna’s apocalyptic vision come to pass?
