Caelynn knew her parents and was born on a boat at sea. She is an only child, who was raised by her parents. Her father was a sailor who was obsessed with dragons and her mother was a farmer. They were modestly well off and lived in a small house until they came into a title and moved into a large estate in Waterdeep. When Caelynn was born, the sea froze solid for a time and her father was sure this was an omen of strange times.
